Introduction At Tour Guide Ceylon, we strive to provide the best adventure experiences in Kitulgala. However, we understand that plans can change. This policy outlines the terms under which cancellations and refunds are handled for all our tour packages (Rafting, Canyoning, Trekking, etc.).

1. Cancellation by the Customer If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us in writing via email at admin@tourguideceylon.com or by whatsapp at +94 71 990 7989. Refunds will be processed based on the following timeline:

7+ Days Before Activity Date: 100% refund (minus a small administrative/bank processing fee, if applicable).
3 to 6 Days Before Activity Date: 50% refund of the total booking value.
Less than 48 Hours / No-Show: No refund will be provided.

2. Cancellation by Tour Guide Ceylon Your safety is our priority. We reserve the right to cancel any tour due to:

Extreme Weather Conditions: (e.g., dangerously high river levels for rafting).
Safety Hazards: Unforeseen events that compromise safety.

In the event that we cancel your tour, you will be offered:

A Full 100% Refund: Processed back to your original payment method.
Rescheduling: An option to move your booking to a different date at no extra cost.

3. Refund Processing Time

Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days after approval.
The amount will be credited back to the original card or bank account used for payment via our secure payment gateway.

4. Changes to Bookings Requests to change dates are subject to availability. Please contact us at least 48 hours in advance to reschedule your adventure without penalty.
